The Pro-Model Spinner bait

The Strike King Pro-Model spinner bait used to be my favorite spinner bait. The Pro-Model spinner bait is probably just as good as the Premier Elite spinner bait. However, you get more-expensive blades on the Premier Elite than the Pro-Model and a better, sharper hook. However, I can recommend the Pro-Model Spinner bait for the cost-conscious angler. I have probably caught a zillion fish on this spinner bait and still have it in my tackle box, even though I have upgraded to the Premier Elite.

When fish are shallow and around cover, the Pro-Model Spinner bait is hard to beat. My favorite has always been the tandem willow-leaf spinner bait. This was the first tandem willow leaf that Strike King ever made. When I first started throwing the tandem willow leaf made by Strike King, bass never had seen a spinner bait made like this before, so I caught a lot of bass. This is an excellent bait to fish around grass or wood when the water temperature is warm and the bass want a fast-moving spinner bait. The reason I don’t use the Pro-Model very much is because I like the hook on the spinner baits better than on the Pro-Model Spinner bait. The hook is a little sharper and has a wider gap than on the two other spinner baits. When I fish in competition, even the slightest advantage can mean the difference in winning or losing.
