Mark Rose earns Northern Everstart Angler of the Year honors

Mark Rose of Marion Arkansas set off in Early June on a 6200 Mile journey due North to claim is first ever Everstart Angler of the Year honors in the Northern Division. With 4 top 25 finishes including a 19th, 25th, 13th and a 12th place finish to cap it off, Mark earned this title outright. A regular competitor on both the Citgo Bass master Trail and the FLW Trail where he qualified for his 2nd consecutive championship this year, Mark used his skills as a professional angler and headed up North. “I like it up here, the fisheries we visit are awesome and full fish and I feel very confident in my ability to do well here.” Says Rose who only practiced a single day for most of the events.

A congratulations is also in order to Mark and his family as two weeks go Marks wife Christi had their 2nd daughter Hannah Grace just a week before Mark was slated to leave for the last Northern Everstart in Michigan. Congratulations Rose family and Congratulations Mark Rose 2005 Northern Everstart Angler of the Year!

Mark’s next tournament will be the Everstart Championship on Pickwick Lake in Florence Alabama the first week of November. Good Luck Mark!
