Classic Bound – Team Strike King Sends 6 to the Big Show in February

The field is set and the anticipation of the 2007 BassMasters Classic is underway as the fisherman begin preparing and practicing before Lay Lake outside Birmingham Alabama goes off Limits. Team Strike King members who have qualified for the Classic are a rookies and veterans. No strangers to the Classic stages in the 4 veterans in Mike Wurm, Greg Hackney, Kevin VanDam and the man himself Denny Brauer, but Strike King is also sending two young guns to the stage as well. James Niggemeyer from Lake Fork Texas, a Strike King Regional Pro-Staff member proved his worth by winning the BASS Southern Tour Points this year vaulting him into the limelight of not only the Classic but also for the Elite Series next year. From the Northern Tour side, Long time Strike King Regional Pro Sam Lashlee out of Camden Tennessee finished in 2nd place in tour points after a stellar 6 months of fishing to qualify for the Classic and the Elite series next year as well. This will be both anglers first time in the big show and we wish all our guys good luck in Alabama.
