Hilary Martin

 

Hilary Martin, (aka The Reel Hilary Sue), comes from a long family history of angling tradition. Her granddad the legendary angler Roland Martin, her grandmother Mary Ann (World Champion Lady Angler) and her dad Scott Martin who is an acclaimed World Champion Angler and leading influencer in the outdoor segment.

At just 18 years old, Hilary has already made a name for herself on TV, in YouTube videos and on the B.A.S.S. Nation High School tournament trail and now fishing for the University of Alabama’s B.A.S.S. Collegiate team where she earned a 2nd place finish in her first collegiate event. In addition to filming with her dad for the Scott Martin Challenge, she has also launched a successful social media following with over 400K combined YouTube subscribers, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok followers. 

Hilary is known for her true passion for the sport and prides herself on being a leader for women that share her same passion for the outdoors.

In 2022, Hilary and her fishing partner Rafe Sexton consistently placed in the Top Ten at many of the events throughout Florida. In addition, they took home 5th place in the Florida State Championship, weighing in over 35 pounds on the St. Johns River. At the recent 2023 B.A.S.S. Nation High School championship they took 55th place out of 464 teams. Hilary recently won 2nd place in her first B.A.S.S. Collegiate event.

Hilary is studying marketing at the University of Alabama and continuing her career on the Collegiate Bass Fishing Series for Alabama. Watch for exciting things ahead for this talented angler.
